Evangelist Finu travelled to Trinidad & Tobago on September 24, 2009. Passion to Reach Ministries has made a long term commitment to this beautiful pearl of a nation in the Caribbean. Just like the weather, the people of this island nation are warm and they are extremely hospitable.
Evangelist Finu had planned to hold two crusades, a Leadership Development Seminar as well as a Youth for Christ Rally. He also took with him a team from All Peoples Church in Brampton, ON. The team was from the church’s F.R.E.E (Financially Rebuilding Everyone’s Estate) ministry led by sister Pauline Chiasson. Passion to Reach Ministries and Jesus Worship Centre (in Williamsville) organized a 3 day seminar to teach the body of Christ how to become good stewards of their God given finances and how to see their dreams come to fruition. The seminar was a great success with many more invitations coming from other churches. This is part of Evangelist Finu’s vision to see the whole body equipped and built up to become effective soul winners!
Evangelist Finu shared at the Youth For Christ Rally in San Fernando, Trinidad, addressing approximately 400 young people. The power of God fell upon the youth in a mighty way as close to 300 youth packed the altar area asking for a touch from God. The atmosphere in the room was electric as the Holy Spirit touched scores of young people who experienced his tangible power upon their bodies. Only heaven will reveal how many young people from that group will go on to accomplish mighty exploits for the Kingdom of God.
The first 3 night evangelistic outreach was held in the town of Rio Claro. The host pastor, Rev. Sahadeo Lutchman worked with his church to organize this event. The venue chosen was a car park area right in the centre of the city. Evangelist Finu was not just speaking to the people who gathered each evening but to the principalities over the whole town. As the presence of the Holy Spirit descended every night many responded to the call of salvation and the Lord healed many of physical infirmities.
The second 3 night evangelistic crusade was organized by Rev. Ronald Gordon and held in the city of Princess Town. The venue for this event was the church facility of the Princess Town Open Bible Church, whose pastor, Rev. Errol Ramdass graciously offered the use of his church’s facilities. Right from the very first night the presence of God was very real in the service and many people began to receive healing even as Evangelist Finu led the gathering into an intimate time of worship. People began to come forward and testify of how they had received their healing from Jesus as they worshipped. The church facility could not hold the number of people that turned out each night. An over flow area with a live video feed from the service was set up and scores of people participated from there. Evangelist Finu ministered to approximately 1400 people over the three nights.
Friends as you Passion to Reach Ministries is a soul winning ministry. We exist to see people make that all important, eternal decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Each night dozens gave their lives to the Lord Jesus. Young and old, men and women alike decided to follow Jesus. It was an amazing sigh to see how the Holy Spirit drew the people to the cross of Christ.
In addition to salvation which is the greatest and ultimate miracle, many physical miracles took place. One of the outstanding miracles was that of the woman with a large tumor on her back who came believing for her healing. When she returned home that night she realized that the tumor had completely disappeared! It was wonderful to see her return the next night and glorify Jesus for his kindness towards her. Many other illnesses including conditions of the eyes, arthritis, migraine headaches, diabetes etc were supernaturally healed in Jesus name.
The ministry also hosted a ‘Leadership Empowerment Seminar’ in San Fernando, Trinidad. Over one hundred leaders from various fields attended two powerful sessions. Among those who attended were Pastors, Associate Pastors, Business owners, professionals such as lawyers and architects etc. Rev. Tony Soldano, pastor of All People’s church in Brampton, and a Board of Director of Passion to Reach Ministries, flew down to speak at the seminar. The power of the Holy Spirit was present as Rev. Soldano brought forth clear leadership strategies from the heart of God. He also ministered under a prophetic anointing as destinies were released and lives were aligned according to the word of God.
