The ministry trip to Brazil, South America has been absolutely amazing. God's presence was with us from the moment I left Toronto, All the way through our ministry in and around the city of Belo Horizonte.
MINISTRY at CHURCHES
Our first speaking engagement was at the main church of the city of Ipatinga. The service was immensely powerful and we saw the whole church revived and stirred up for God. The altar was flooded as people came forward to receive a new and fresh touch from the Lord. The second time we spoke at this church we also had opportunity to pray for the sick and for those who needed a breakthrough in their walk with God. Many hearts were broken and changed.
Also in this city, we spoke at a special youth service. That night about 30 people dedicated their lives for ministry, and 3 young men accepted Jesus as their Savior! Another 4 or 5 who were backslidden recommitted their lives to their first love.
The service in the city of Aimores was incredible. God gave revelation from the word that was amazing. Such was the touch of the Spirit, that after the service the Pastor mentioned that our visit had been a blessing to their city!
In Filipe’s home town, Ves Pasiano, we had many opportunities to minister the word at different churches as well as at a youth conference where there were around 300-400 assembled.
MISSION CONFERENCE
Even before we left from Toronto, we had heard of a conference to be held in the city of Ipaba. Thousands were expected to attend, and the biggest names in Christian ministry in Brazil were to be present.
On the first night of the conference, we were extremely blessed by the Word. Just to see the fire and zeal in the hearts of the people was amazing! The following night the crowd exceeded 5- 6,000 people (they had a huge screen outside the auditorium for all who could not come in). We were given a few minutes to share our testimony, and all I can say is that God moved in that place! The anointing in the auditorium was beyond description. After the service we had long lines of people waiting to be prayed for. We finished praying for everyone by midnight. It was extremely exhausting, but the Lord strengthened us!
The final day of the mission conference, we went with the intention of simply receiving from the Lord, but He had other plans! Soon after arriving we were informed that we would be have 40 minutes to minister from the Word! We were surprised, and had not come prepared, but we knew that God was in control. That night, the Fire of God fell upon that place and many were set free. In fact the Lord’s power was such that as soon as we were done speaking, the organizers of the event announced that we would be one of the main speakers for the next year’s conference! What a humbling experience to have the favor of God upon our lives.
MEDIA EVANGELISM
It was totally the Lord’s doing that we were given an opportunity to minister the word LIVE on a television program called The Pentecostal Message. After we finished the first show, again, such was the favour upon us that the hosts asked us to tape 2 more shows! It is amazing to think of the thousands that were potentially listening to the life changing, healing, delivering power of the gospel!
