Does God exist? Does he care about my situation in life? If He did, would He be able to help me? What do I have to do to get His attention? …Is there an answer to these impossible circumstances that I’m facing?

Hi, my name is Finu Iype. I am of Indian origin, born and raised in Bahrain, Middle East. At one point in my life, I was hopelessly sick, looking down the long, narrow, dark tunnel of death. My life was going nowhere, in fact it almost seemed like it was just going, going away. But then the unthinkable happened. Here is my story.

Like many people, I had heard about Jesus Christ all my life. Having been born in a Christian family, I was exposed to the Bible from a very young age. I knew a lot of the Bible stories and had clocked hundreds of hours on the church pew attending church with my family.  Growing up, I considered going to church and participating in religion an obligation; a sort of ‘good act’ that would cancel out all of my ‘bad acts’. Further, it seemed like the right thing to do; the sort of thing that respectable families would do. And after all, all of my other friends belonged to some religion or another, so surely I had to have my own ‘beliefs’.

But all that changed in March 2002. Two weeks after my Grade 12 exams, all of my body began to break out in boils and sores. Puss began to ooze out of the openings of the sores and blood flowed and the skin tore. No one could understand what was happening. Within a few weeks, my condition grew worse and I would wake up in the morning to find my bed sheets covered in blood and puss. Many times the dried up puss would cause my skin to stick to the sheets and as I would pull the sheets away, my skin would peel with it.

In a couple of months the disease spread and my body became an ugly mess. I could not stretch my hands because of the swelling on my elbows; I was in severe pain most of the time and eventually could not wear clothes on my body because of the constant oozing of puss and blood. The stench of my infected skin was almost unbearable.
In May of that year, my parents suggested I travel to India to stay with my grandmother who lived there. They both worked full time jobs and they did not want leave me at home by myself. So I went to India in the month of May, 2002. While there my condition continued to deteriorate. At times, I would wake up in the morning to find ants all over my body. They were eating away at my open sores and attracted to the oozing puss.
Throughout this time I prayed to the Lord Jesus and asked for His help. I knew that without His supernatural help I would not be able to overcome this absolutely impossible situation that I found myself in. I would pray and ask for Him to heal me completely. I believed that He was the Almighty God and He was able and willing to bring about a change in my life.

Friend, let me take a minute to say to you, that He is able and willing to heal you as well. Healing is available not only for your body, but also for your mind, your emotions and your relationships. Whatever your need may be, my Jesus is more than able to set you free!

In November 2002, I returned to Bahrain to live with my parents. On my return, my condition grew worse. For all of the month of November, I was completely bedridden. I could hardly even walk to the washroom.
But at the end of that month, a man of God came to our home. I still remember the first night that he came, he sat on the couch in our living room and began to tell me of all the great plans that God had for me. He said God had planned for me to travel the nations of the world and pray for the sick and see them healed. As he was speaking, I was thinking of how impossible all this sounded to a guy who could not even wear clothes or walk out of the house.
The man left that night and returned a few days later. On his return to our home, a few people had gathered to pray and that night he said he would like to pray for me. I remember him laying his hands on me and saying, “In the name of Jesus Christ” – that is all I heard. Immediately I felt like a million volts of current going through my body and when I opened my eyes, I realized that I was healed. God healed me 100% that night! Praise Jesus!
Friend, I have been healed ever since. Jesus Christ is alive!

Today at the age of 24, I am a living witness of the power of Jesus’ name. Friend, I do not know what problems or pains you are enduring right now, but I tell you the truth; all you need to do is call on the name of Jesus! If you can simply whisper his name (JESUS), asking for his help and deliverance, then He will definitely come through for you.

The GREATEST MIRACLE of all is that of SALVATION.
The Bible says, ‘all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.’ (Rom 3:23) You and I are sinners, condemned to die because of our sinfulness. But Jesus Christ, the Son of God loved us so much that He came to this world and took our punishment for sin and suffered in our place.
All you need to do is ask him to free you from your sins and accept you as His own. The Bible reminds us that ‘God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.’ (John 3:16)

Friend, if you would like to receive the forgiveness of your sins and have a relationship with the one and only living God through Jesus Christ His Son, then this is your moment. Pray the following prayer, believing every word in your heart as you pray.

Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. I believe you died on the cross and shed your blood to wash away my sin. Lord I repent of my sins and choose to follow your ways. Come into my heart and make me your child. I thank you for saving me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
