Passion To Reach Ministries

...to the ends of the earth

Good News!!

Friend,

What you are about to read is the most powerful TRUTH, this world has ever heard. So brace yourself, your life will never be the same.

Look at the world around you.

Hunger, Starvation, Terror, Fear, Injustice, Oppression, Disease, Sickness,Death etc.

Look at the people of this world

Hopeless, lack of happiness, in search of truthand meaning, poor and desperate, or rich (lots of stuff and things) and dissatisfied , and friends who never seem to meet the mark.

Is something wrong with the world we live in today? If so what?

The Bible says that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). He created all that we see around us (Genesis 1).Then God created man. He created him to rule over everything on the earth, to have DOMINION!  But unfortunately man sinned against God and walked in rebellion. God being JUST, He had to punish sin. And so man died spiritually and began to die physically as well. Sickness and disease began to ravage the human body as the earth and all of creation fell under God’s curse.

What a sorry state! But all was not lost.

My friend, God LOVED mankind so much that he couldn’t bear to see the terrible consequences of sin as it took its toll on human life and on His relationship with them.

The Bible gives us God’s answer to the hopeless state of man.

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Yes! God himself took on human flesh and was born into this world. His birth itself was a miracle, for he was born of a VIRGIN. This was so because His father was God, or in other words Mary, his mother concieved not from a man, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. He lived to show us the abundant life that we can have in God. And finally he paid the price to set us free, so that we could live forever!

While on the earth, Jesus "grew in favour with God and with man" (Luke 2:52).  He started to minister to the needs of those around him when he turned 30 years of age.  He spoke of the kingdom of God.  He spoke of how God wanted man to live -- in love, in peace, in harmony with one another, and in worship to God.  He not only spoke  of the Kingdom, he demonstrated  the authority of the Kingdom!

He healed the sick- the blind saw, the deaf heard, the dumb spoke, the lame walked, and the dead were raised back to life.

He exercised authority over nature, the seas were calmed and the storms stilled.

He even freed the demon possessed. He showed that Satan and his demons were all under His jurisdiction.

His death

But for us to live the life He showed us, He had to first set us free from the bondage of sin and spiritual death.  And for this there was not other alternative than for Him to take on the punishment for our sin.  But the punishment for our sin was death, for the Bible declares, "The wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).  And so, in order to set us free and make us a part of the kingdom of God, Jesus Christ HAD to die.  He could take our place because He himself was sinless (see Hebrews 4:15).  Thus, Jesus died for the sin of all of humanity on the cross of Calvary.

His Resurrection

But after 3 days of His death, Jesus rose again! (This he had promised even before His death) This demonstrated that the power of God was no match to the ultimate enemy of every man –DEATH! He rose from among the dead giving us hope that if we believe in Him, we too will be resurrected. (I Thessalonians 4:14, 16, 17)

My friend Jesus is the answer to your every need. He knows what you’re going through because he’s been in this world and knows what it feels like. But remember he didn’t just tell you how bad sin and bondage are, he also showed you the way out.

First, you have to accept that you are a sinner. This is so by default. Since Adam sinned every human being born from him has a sin nature inside of him, which will undoubtedly make that person sin, be it in thought, word, or deed. The Bible declares, “ For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”(Romans 3:23)

If you admit this and believe that Jesus is your answer, pray this prayer right now.

Dear Jesus,

I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that you came into this world and died on the cross for my sins and that by your blood my sins are washed away. Lord, come into my heart right now and be Lord of my life. From now on, I will live for you. In Jesus name I  pray. Amen.
